Titles & Descriptions •Advanced Weapons Technician: Duties include analyzing and developing weapons technologies that can be used for defensive purposes. •Arbitration Officer: Duties include mediating communications between crew and other areas of the ship. May work closely with those designated in Navigation, Medbay, or the Hold. Also present during foreign exchanges. •Assistant Chef: Duties include overseeing and directing staff in their own tasks and preparing meals for the entire crew. Inventory of stock must be kept daily. Works closely with the Head Chef. •Barista: Duties include coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff to set up and run a cafe. •Bailiff | Probation Officer: Duties include organizing jury sessions, ensuring the verdict is followed through, and working with and monitoring offenders to prevent them from committing new crimes. •Beverage Dissemination Officer: Duties include working with those in the Mess Hall as well as providing a safe and entertaining environment while serving beverages of an alcoholic nature. It is by the Beverage Dissemination Officer's discretion to serve minors. •Cargo Bay Technician: Duties include repairs and maintenance of transportation equipment, loading and unloading supplies during on planet exploration and gathering trips, and assisting other crew that work within the Cargo Bay with inventory and cleaning tasks. •Chief Hydroponics Officer: Duties include overseeing all planting, cultivating, and harvesting of food, medicine, and plant products in the hydroponics garden. •Chief Morale Officer: Duties include noting and documenting morale of the crew and activities based on increasing said morale. May also work closely with Navigation and the Public Relations Officer. •Chief Science Officer: Science officers are mainly responsible for observing and theorizing explanations for strange or otherwise unexplainable circumstances. Also constantly monitor energy and radiation readings and fluctuations, both inside and outside the ship, and register any values outside the norm. •Co-Head Training and Defense Officer: Duties include instructing individuals on basic self-defense techniques as well as working with those in the Main Gunnery and its subsidiaries. •Communications Technician: Duties include intercepting and delivering messages to individual parts of the ship as well as recording any incoming transmissions from outside the Moira. •Counseling Operative:Duties include (but are not limited to) listening to and recording crew members' problems/concerns while maintaining an awareness of any psychological needs. May work with those in Medbay as well as the Chief Morale Officer. •Counterintelligence Officer: Duties include detecting, identifying, assessing, countering, exploiting and/or neutralizing adversarial, foreign intelligence services, galaxy-wide adversarial organizations, and ship-specific insider threats. •Crow's Nest Technician: Duties include noting incoming vehicles or debris and reporting them to Navigation. May also spend time with Communications officers and scouters to document any suspicious activity outside the Moira. •Cryo Repair Tech : Duties includes routine maintenance on Cryo beds and the responsibility to report a malfunction if one occurs. •Cybernetics Technician: Duties include developing new cybernetics, implants, and more for crew members that are injured or require medical upgrades. •Director of First Impressions: Duties include greeting new crew as they come in through the Ingress, pairing them up with another crew member to show them around, and guiding them to the medbay. •Defense Specialist (bow): Duties include maintaining and operating defenses located in the bow of the Moira. Communication between the Tower and Main Gunnery are crucial. •Engineer: Duties include service and maintenance of the ship's engines. Communication between the Tower and Navigation are essential. Other tasks may require testing of the Moira's power grid via Navigation directly to the engines. •Field Medic: Duties include seeing and treating all injured or ill persons when on planets or in emergency situations. •Fine Arts Instructor: Duties include helping to channel the crew's issues and/or problems through creative means. May interact with those of all areas to instruct in care of its members as well as other instructors. •Gardener: Duties include caring for the ships plant-life, increasing the types of plants in the garden, and starting a program to grow crops. •General Education Teacher: Duties include creating a curriculum for teaching the crew basic education and skills. •Head Chef: Duties include overseeing and directing staff in their own tasks and preparing meals for the entire crew. Inventory of stock must be kept daily. •Hold Workforce Officer: Duties include securing any and all prisoners, monitoring their sentences and keeping morale of all punished persons moderate. Also cleaning of cells once vacated. •Hypnotherapist: Duties include utilizing this form of psychotherapy to create subconscious change in a patient in the form of new responses, thoughts, attitudes, behaviors or feelings. •Ingress Cleaning Technician: Duties include sweeping, polishing, and care of the room the Ingress resides in. Potentially works with those in Navigation and Sanitation departments. •Ingress Security Guard: Duties include standing watch outside of the Ingress room for alternating shifts of daytime and nighttime hours. •Intelligence Operative: Duties include working with Hold Workforce Officers and those in Navigation to handle internal affairs. Also responsible for scouting and relaying information back to the Tower. •Interpersonal Relationships Officer: Duties include fortifying and strengthening the relationships between the crew and captains, maintaining a peaceful co-habitation, and monitoring which crew members need the most development. •Interrogation Technician: Duties include working with Hold Workforce Officers and those in Navigation to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. Any resistance should be noted with Navigation and dealt with accordingly. •Inventory Specialist (Cargo Bay): Duties include keeping inventory of all items in and out of the Cargo Bay. Changes or short supplies must be noted and sent to Navigation. •Inventor: Duties include creating new technology that will enhance and improve the functionality of the crew aboard the Moira. •Journalist: Duties include collecting stories, interviews, as well as any other important information from sources on and off the ship, then posting the gathered material for the crew to read at their leisure. •Laundry Attendant: Duties include washing, drying, and folding bed linens, blankets, and pillowcases. •Librarian: Duties include creating a library in one of the locked rooms; complete control of the development and organization of the Moira's first library. •Lighting Technician: Duties include the repairs and cleaning of all light fixtures within the ship. May work with those in the Tower and engineers to discuss power issues. •Location Scout: Duties include scouting the layout of new areas prior to the general population coming off ship, and searching areas of interest for information and the good of the crew. •Medbay Technician: Duties include restocking of any supplies needed throughout the Medbay and keeping inventory of stock. Also has access to the labs and OR rooms and is responsible for those who enter and use the facilities. •Messenger: Duties include delivering messages to crew or the captains that is private and not wished to be shared on the network; discretion is important. •Makeup Artist: Duties include cutting and styling hair for the crew, as well as assisting the crew and captains with their makeup and hair during special functions. •Media Distribution Officer: Duties include delivering of mail and other items to crew members on specified days. May work with those in Navigation. •MID Technician: Duties include developing new applications/programs for the Moira's communication devices, as well as optimizing existing technology. •Moira Repair Officer: Duties include maintenance and repair to outer hull of the Moira when the ship sustains damage from debris or attack. •Moiran Chronicler: Duties include updating and maintaing a log of all histories related to the Moira. Works closely with all areas of the ship and must communicate with the crew to keep track of specific events. •Navigation Assistant Supervisor: Duties include coordinating and monitoring crew members assigned to work in navigation. •Navigation Operations Technician: Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting in travel planning, advising the ship's captains of estimated timing to destinations while en route, and ensuring hazards are avoided. In charge of maintaining the ship's nautical charts, nautical publications, and navigational equipment, and has a general responsibility for meteorological equipment and communications. •Physician: Duties include seeing and treating all injured or ill persons in the Medbay. Works closely with any Medbay personnel. •Performance Arts Officer: Duties include assisting in boosting morale through the performance arts; may instruct others, give shows, etc. •Personal Defense Specialist: Duties include training crew members in self-defense and instructing those that want to learn to protect themselves or learn advanced techniques. •Physical Wellness Instructor: Duties include instructing, and motivating individuals or groups in exercise activities, including cardiovascular exercises (exercises for the heart and blood circulation), strength training, and stretching. •Radio Host: Duties include creating and running the Moira's first radio show. •Self-Defense Instructor/Recreation Room Manager: Duties include instructing individuals on basic self-defense techniques and supervising the proper use of the recreation room. •Stealth Operative: Duties include getting in and out of locked down areas when requested by the captains or other crew members. •Tailor: Duties include repairs and upkeep of uniforms and thermals, as well as express rights to adjust the uniforms as they see fit. •Trade and Commerce Tech.: Duties include planning for appropriate trade on upcoming planets as well as assisting in trade during appropriate times. •Transporter Technician: Duties include keeping the transporters in top working order to ensure safe and efficient planet exploration, as well as flying when needed. •Unknown Disease Research Technician: Duties include researching and cataloging all known symptoms within the medbay database. Important •Ventilation Cleaning Tech.: Duties include cleaning and maintenance of the Moira's ventilation ducts. •Waste Disposal Technician: Duties include maintaining all units in Sanitation as well as calibrating disposal systems so they do not flood or overheat. Daily checks of the water supply is mandatory and must be reported to Navigation. •Water Filtration and Purification Technician: Duties include assisting in maintaining all units in Sanitation as well as calbirating systems so they do not flood or overheat. Daily checks of the water supply is mandatory and must be reported to Navigation. •Welding Tech.: Duties include repairing any areas of the ship that need patched, inside and outside of the Moira. •Window Transparency Enhancement Facilitator: Duties include maintaining outer windows of the Moira in the Aft, Navigation, the Main Gunnery, and the Tower. Involves leaving the artificial atmosphere generated by the Moira to work in space and requires the handling of chemicals. •Weapons Calibration Specialist: Duties include working with the Moira's defense systems and those stationed in the Main Gunnery and its subsidiaries. Repair and calibration of equipment must be noted and logged via Navigation and scheduled accordingly. •Weapons Specialist: Duties include maintaining inventory weapons, repair and construction of weaponry, designing and employing (with mod approval) warfare tactics and techniques, and preparing combat orders. •Weapons Training Officer: Duties include training crew members on how to assemble/disassemble, clean, and use various weapons. •Wing Repair Officer: Duties include maintaining the state of the Moira's solar sails. Communication with Navigation and any engineers are crucial in emergency repairs as power must be diverted and stored so life support systems do not fail. Involves leaving the artificial atmosphere generated by the Moira and working in space. •Workshift Coordinator: Duties include coordinating work shifts for all departments and personnel throughout the Moira. Works closely with all departments of the ship, especially those with multiple crew members. |
